EAT: Base Camp Pizza is a must — casual, lively, and ideal after a long day outside. If you have trouble finding seating, head to the bar for open seating. Christy Hill is comfort food with lake views that make dinner feel like an occasion. In north Tahoe, there is The Soule Domain with cozy dishes—great for a slower, candlelit night out.
STAY: Consider Edgewood, if you’re in the mood for a little luxury. Think lakefront views, fireplaces, spa afternoons, and après that feels effortlessly polished. It’s romantic, cozy, and worth the splurge. Desolation Hotel is a more modern, design-forward stay that still feels warm. This location is perfect for ski days followed by hot tub nights and low-key dinners.
