WELLNESS: RUNNING VS SWIMMING, WHAT’S BETTER FOR YOUR BODY?
Running and swimming aren’t compared much when it comes to fitness activities, but they’ve both got their respective benefits and drawbacks. Both can improve cardiovascular and mental health, but their suitability depends on factors such as injury history, any underlying health conditions, and honestly personal preference. Also, contrary to common belief, running can actually benefit knee health when done properly while swimming offers a low-impact alternative that's more gentle on joints. Ultimately, take a look at your body and assess what it can take.

BEAUTY: HAIR MASK VS. DEEP CONDITIONER
Hair masks and deep conditioners are two hair care products that have distinct purposes. Hair masks are more intensive treatments that penetrate deeply into the hair shaft, providing moisture and reparative benefits. They are ideal for addressing issues like breakage, split ends, and scalp health. Deep conditioners, which are actually a type of hair mask, have a thinner formula that primarily coats the outer layer of the hair shaft and focuses on adding moisture. Both products can be used to support curl patterns, increase shine, and protect color, but the frequency of use and specific application may differ.

FASHION: THE LEOPARD PRINT REVIVAL IS HERE
Leopard print is having quite the resurgence for this year’s fall fashion. After a period of minimalism + quiet luxury taking over, this 1920’s (& early 2000’s) print is being embraced across various clothing items and accessories. More brands are showcasing pieces, from coats to bags to jeans. A lot of people wear it as a base piece or a bold statement piece. Surprisingly, it can also be incorporated into minimalist styles!

Working Hard, Hardly Working is a podcast by Grace Beverly who is a successful entrepreneur herself. Grace speaks with people from all walks of life who have achieved remarkable success. Her guests opens up about life lessons that they wish they had known earlier. She recently recorded her 100th episode!

ON THE POWER OF THOUGHTS: "You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life so bad, work on the mind. That's the only thing you should be trying to control.” - Elizabeth Gilbert

Your thoughts make your reality and the more time we spend thinking about one thing, the more likely it is to come into fruition.
