WEALTH: 2025 TAX BRACKETS ARE HERE
In 2025, American tax brackets are looking like they’ll have an upward adjustment, around 2.8%, due to inflation. This means it’ll take more income to reach higher tax brackets. This could mean slightly lower tax bills for a lot of people, although the savings are still likely be pretty humble. The top federal income tax rate of 37% will apply to incomes above $751,600 for couples and $626,350 for individuals. Standard deductions will also rise, with individuals receiving $15,000 and married couples $30,000.
BUSINESS: RENT THE RUNWAY’S PLAN TO CAPTURE GEN-Z MARKET
Rent the Runway, the designer clothing rental service founded in 2009, is pivoting to attract Gen Z consumers after historically targeting millennials. The company is launching several initiatives including a nationwide university tour, revamping its college ambassador program with a focus on content creation, introducing a new $119 monthly subscription tier, and adding a college-specific tab to its app featuring trendy brands. Currently, Gen Z makes up 20% of Rent the Runway's customer base. This shift comes as part of the company's turnaround efforts following pandemic-related challenges, with CEO Jennifer Hyman emphasizing Gen Z's growing financial independence and the generation's projected $12 trillion global spending power by 2030.
TRAVEL: LOVE NATURE (ESPECIALLY FALL FOLIAGE) BUT HATE CROWDS?
It’s not doubt that Fall foliage in places like Vermont & Boston attract a pretty crowd. But what do you do if you adore the nature (especially during this season) but are not a fan of people gathering? Wilderness areas and some parks may be your best bet. In eastern Utah, Moab provides sunny hiking and biking near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, while in Sedona, Arizona you’ll find peaceful hikes and spa treatments amongst the red-rock. California’s Eastern Sierra Scenic Byway is also another gem as it leads to scenic hikes and historic ghost towns. There are other locations for you to check out if you’re all about the leafage and not so much about the crowding.
Starring Laura Dern and Liam Hemsworth, Lonely Planet is about a life altering love affair. At an idyllic writers retreat in Morocco, a newly single novelist (played by Laura) finds an unexpected connection with a younger man (played by Liam) who's reevaluating his life choices. It’s a fun movie to have playing in the background or when you need something light-hearted.

ON THOUGHTS: "Being kind to others is mostly about your actions. Being kind to yourself is mostly about your thoughts." - JAMES CLEAR
It is often said that the more you tell yourself something, the more you start to believe in it. This holds true for what you think about yourself. Self-care starts with being kind to yourself and being your own #1 supporter.
