The focus on barrier-repair skincare is definitely growing stronger, but derms are telling people to be careful because not everyone needs specialized barrier-repair products, and overuse could potentially lead to other skin concerns like breakouts or milia.

TRAVEL: BEDBUGS ON TURKISH AIRLINES
Multiple passengers have reported finding bedbugs on Turlish airline flights over the past year, and the airline's response has been disappointing. It started with finding bugs on a Johannesburg-Istanbul flight last March, and similar stories have popped up since then, including a passenger spotting bugs falling from the ceiling on his Istanbul-San Francisco flight. The passengers tried complaining to Turkish Airlines but got brushed off with minimal compensation (like a 10% discount on future flights) or were given the runaround - the airline either denied the incidents, demanded medical documentation, or claimed they couldn't find reservation records. Treating planes for bedbugs is a huge undertaking - it can cost airlines up to $125,000 and take several days to complete.
