TRAVEL: HOW TO PLAN A ROAD TRIP FROM START TO FINISH
The US has rightfully earned its reputation as a premier road trip destination, thanks to its network of highways and diversity of scenic routes. From the iconic Route 66 to the Pacific Coast Highway, these journeys offer many experiences, including starlit camping and exploration of epic national parks like the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone. You’ll want to use Google Maps' My Maps feature, which allows you to create a detailed itinerary with up to 10,000 points of interest. For RV enthusiasts, it's crucial to be mindful of potential obstacles.
LIFESTYLE: TRY SAYING NO WHEN ASKED FOR YOUR SSN
Businesses and organizations frequently ask for social security numbers when they don't actually need them, which puts you at a potential risk of identity theft (if that data is compromised). Privacy experts are advising to politely decline when asked to provide your social, unless legally required, such as for employment, loans, or government benefits. If it’s for a casual identity confirmation, your drivers license number, address, and even phone number will do. Alternatives like a driver's license can be offered for identity verification instead.
BUSINESS: SPOTIFY SHARES JUMP ON PRICE HIKE
If the price hikes of other subscription services wasn’t enough, Spotify has also gotten on the bandwagon. Starting next month, premium users will be paying $11.99 instead of $10.99/month. This is the second time that the company has raised their prices which is truly testing the loyalty of their subscribers. This news led for their shares to increase but also is a move for Spotify to post consistent profits — something they have been struggling with.
Set the tone: road trip on a sunny day, windows down, dance party in the car
Lunch will make you feel like school just got out and you’re headed to the beach with your pals.

ASPEN, CO
(yes, it’s a sight to see in the Summer too!)
EAT: For a farm to table experience you’ve got to try Meat & Cheese Restaurant & Farm Shop. On the other hand, Ajax Tavern is a lively tavern located at the base of Aspen Mountain, offering a diverse menu and great patio seating.
STAY: The Little Nell is a luxurious hotel (the Ajax Tavern ^ is actually located here) with great amenities and quite the view, if you’re in the mood for a mountainous vibe. For a cozy retreat type vacay, try the Aspen Meadows Resort. It’s set on 40 acres of land with natural surroundings.
DO: For such a nature-esque location it only makes sense to partake in outdoor activities. Aspen has a bunch of scenic hiking trails such as the Maroon Bells loop or the Ute Trail. If being on your feet isn’t in the equation, then give rafting a chance! Being on the Roaring Fork will definitely give you a thrill.
