Yesterday, Apple announced “Apple Intelligence", a major AI update across its software and devices. The system provides personalized generative AI capabilities like writing assistance, photo editing, and text summarization, while emphasizing privacy through on-device processing and its own private cloud servers. Other updates include iOS personalization options, improved Maps and satellite connectivity, gaming optimizations, photo filtering, head gesture controls for AirPods, and enhanced audio processing.
