"Dry tripping" has grown immensely over the past years as it aligns with broader wellness movements, especially among the younger generations. People actually wish to consume less alcohol, especially while traveling! Hotels, airlines, and even restaurants (in popular tourist locations) have made the conscious efforts to expand non-alcoholic offerings, such an entire mocktail menu. This trend became really popular when a lot of travelers began to notice that the drinking during a trip is what caused complete exhaustion. With sober travel, they experienced better sleep, an improved and brighter complexion, and had more energy for activities.

LIFESTYLE: SWAPPING COFFEE WITH MATCHA
There is a growing popularity of matcha as a healthier alternative to coffee. Matcha is a green tea powder, offers numerous potential health benefits due to its high antioxidant content and consists of a combination of caffeine and L-theanine. Switching completely can be a little difficult especially if you’re a coffee addict but eventually you’ll notice the difference in energy levels. Although matcha has caffeine in it as well, it’s a slow release.

They reported a 9.2% increase in the 3rd quarter (July - September) 2024 sales, which totaled to €300M ($325M). Although the luxury market is actually facing a slowdown, Cucinelli’s numbers don’t seem like the brands lagging anywhere. Their main strategy is focusing on high-end consumers and keeping their market exposure quite linear to what it’s been.
