WORK LIFE: LAYOFFS & GOODBYE 4 DAY WORKWEEK
Economic concerns could lead to significant changes in workplace policies and job security. Instead of the 4 day workweek, some companies across the glove have increased to 48-hour workweeks. This has been to boost productivity, however experts warn that reverting to traditional work models or extending hours could harm employee morale and productivity. Layoffs may also be used to bring back employees in-office. Labor market experts caution that short-sighted decisions like layoffs and inflexible work arrangements can damage long-term company performance.

LIFESTYLE: A CRACKDOWN IS COMING ON STUDENT DISCOUNTS
Student discounts were offered as a means for students to save money, but lot of people have found ways to continue using the benefits well after graduation. Yes, even years after, and due to this companies are now implementing stricter eligibility checks to ensure only current students can access these discounts. These verification processes often require students to submit personal information and documents to prove their current enrollment status. There are definitely loopholes that have already been thought of though. What is stopping someone from enrolling into their local community college, getting an ID#, and simply using that as proof?

BUSINESS: SPORTY & RICH WANTS IN ON SEXUAL WELLNESS
Emily Oberg, founder of the popular wellness-inspired athleisure brand Sporty & Rich, appears to be expanding into the sexual wellness market with a new brand called Sensual Sport. While details are limited and the Sporty & Rich team has declined to comment, Oberg has subtly hinted at the new venture on social media. This move follows the successful launch of Sporty & Rich's New York City flagship store last year, which features wellness experiences alongside clothing and accessories. The potential expansion into sexual wellness products aligns with Oberg's established focus on health and lifestyle branding.

It Ends With Us just released in theater a week ago and has been a huge hit. It’s based on the best-selling book and people are loving it (and no, it’s not only because they’re Blake Lively or Justin Baldoni fans)!
Lily moves to Boston & meets Ryle, a charming neurosurgeon. They fall madly in love only for Lily to begin seeing sides of Ryle that immediately take her back to her parents’ relationship. Right when she’s battling the idea of holding on or letting go, her first love, Atlas, suddenly reenters her life, which makes the decision that much more difficult to make.

ON CREATING CHANGE: You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending — C.S. Lewis

You don’t always have control on where/how you started which naturally means you can’t change it. But if something is making you unhappy about your journey, you can always create the change you want to see by considering your now, your beginning.
