LIFESTYLE: THE END OF CHECK REQUESTS
Blackbird Labs is launching Blackbird Pay, a blockchain-enabled payment system for restaurants. This app allows diners to pay their bill anytime during their meal, split checks, and use rewards points or cryptocurrency. For restaurants, it provides customer data and lower transaction fees compared to credit cards. The system aims to boost thin profit margins, enhance customer loyalty, and modernize restaurant technology infrastructure. This may be the end of ā€œcheck, pleaseā€.

FASHION: CURRENT JACKET TREND INSPIRED BY THE ROW
Sporty outerwear is currently trending. Runway shows from designers like Tory Burch, Proenza Schouler, and The Row have all showcased practical and stylish jackets. Designer jackets can however get pricey but TikTok has shared affordable alternatives. Sporty elements can balance outfits and add edge to softer styles.

TRAVEL: DELTA IS BEING SUED OVER TECH OUTAGES
Delta Air Lines is facing a class action lawsuit from customers who claim the airline refused to provide refunds after a major global tech outage last month. This outage caused thousands of flight cancellations and people want their $ back. The lawsuit also includes the fact that Delta failed to provide meal, hotel, and transportation vouchers to impacted passengers and has continued to ignore requests for reimbursement of those expenses. The U.S. D.O.T. (department of transportation) is investigating Delta's response to the outage.
